"Hansel and Gretel" is based on the classic fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm.  This timeless story is sure to entertain the children while helping them face their strongest fear: abandonment. Here in the safe and controlled environment of the puppet play, the child can face and see the resolution of that fear through the growth of the characters.

The marionette show of this beloved classic fairy tale, "Hansel and Gretel", enriches the lives of all children, and it
also teaches many important lessons:
  • Problem Solving
  • The Value of Teamwork
  • Addresses and relieves innate psychological needs and apprehensions common to all children.

The world-renowned child psychologist, Dr. Bruno Bettelheim, states that the reason that fairy tales have remained with us through the ages is that fairy tales meet basic psychological needs within us all. Few stories do this better than the story of "Hansel and Gretel". "Hansel and Gretel", in particular, works to support and free the child of the innate fears.
