 The story of Pinocchio is an odyssey in which a puppet, by the making of ironic life choices, experiences many trials, misadventures, and their inevitable consequences. These experiences, however, ultimately gain Pinocchio a truer course to maturity in life. This maturity is symbolized in the story by Pinocchio, a mere puppet, eventually becoming a “real boy”.
The lavish costumes and settings, authentic details, and the beautiful marionettes all
add to the wonder and magic of this production. Step into the world of make-believe where there is magic and be carried away!
This production is suitable for grades Pre-K through Fifth Grade. The program lasts
approximately 55 minutes, and yes, Pre-K can be entertained for that length of time and will thoroughly enjoy it, as will the older children. The recommended audience size is 350 students per program.
The stage that houses the performance is 12 feet by 8 feet. The performance and
stage setup will be done entirely by Carranza Puppets, requiring no additional assistance from you.
